Sleep Magnet is the app you use to prepare for sleep. It's the app you use to get rid of anxiety and stress, or any time you just need to take a break and relax. Sleep Magnet works with special patterns of sound and light, in union with your breathing. Simply by breathing in harmony with the soothing sounds which match the calm rising and falling glow of light, your stress levels, blood pressure, and heart rate decrease, worries begin to melt away, and your mind and body enter a deeper state of relaxation. With Sleep Magnet you can go from completely stressed to a calm rest in a matter of moments. And when you are relaxed and have let go of stress, sleep comes much more naturally. Just as you should warm up before exercise, Sleep Magnet lets you wind down before sleep. HOW DO I USE IT? To use Sleep Magnet , set your preferred Session Time (in minutes), Sound (there's a preview of each sound as you press the matching icon), and Glow Color (using the color picker tool) by tapping the corresponding icons at the bottom of the screen. As you make adjustments, the Preview Area at the top of your screen will change to match your settings. Press the Play button in the Preview Area to begin your session, then begin to match your breathing to the pattern of the glowing light and sounds. Inhale as the light increases, and exhale as the light decreases. Be sure to pause your breath in unison with the glow / sound pattern. If you feel like yawning after a few breaths, that's a good sign- go with it and then match up your breathing again to the sound / glowing pattern on the next round. You'll notice that the volume of the sound begins to fade over time and goes silent by the end of your session. This adds to the effect and helps to prevent you from startling yourself awake if you happen to fall asleep before the end of your session. At the end of your session, your screen will go black and your phone will lock to conserve battery power. There is a more complete tutorial available inside the app by pressing the info icon at the top-left of the screen. Of course, it doesn't end there. You can also use Sleep Magnet to let go of stress from work, ease the tension of taking care of kids, calm your anxiety before that important interview, you name it!
